I guess if I'm going into fashion after I do my dressmaking courses I'm going to need to....y'know...design stuff.

Today I took a trip to the mall and bought a couple fashion magazines. How girly. ;;; And after flipping through them I drew these.

I know these sorts of skirts, if you took off the last two layers, are hanging out at H&M. These are more influenced by Nana's red dress in Ai Yazawa's manga (also called Nana....) I'm planning on making her dress at some point, so it's sort of on my mind.

Uhm. It's under digital just because of my (very craptastic) attempt at showing the colour schemes I had in mind while I sketched it. (Though the one on the right could just as easily be purple and black instead of red. And gold switched for silver. *shrug*) As I'm working with the touchpad on my laptop and I'm rather lazy. Haha. ;;;

Both skirts are supposed to have the really high waist. You can't see it on the one on the left though.
